Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, graced the men’s singles final at Wimbledon on Sunday, radiating her trademark charm and elegance. Known for her love of the prestigious tennis event, this appearance marks only the second time Middleton has been seen publicly this year as she undergoes treatment for an undisclosed type of cancer.

Making the outing special, Middleton brought along her daughter, Princess Charlotte, for a memorable mother-daughter date. The Princess, stunning in a vibrant purple dress paired with nude heels, received a standing ovation from the enthusiastic crowd as she took her seat in the Royal Box, joined by her sister, Pippa Middleton.

As the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, a role she inherited from Queen Elizabeth eight years ago, Middleton also had the honor of presenting the trophies at the conclusion of the Grand Slam final.

Middleton’s attendance was in question leading up to the championship match, given her ongoing treatment. However, as a dedicated tennis fan and player, she has rarely missed a Wimbledon final since joining the royal family.

In a written update shared by Kensington Palace in June, Kate expressed optimism about her treatment, stating she is “making good progress” but acknowledging she is not “out of the woods yet.” She indicated that her treatment will continue “for a few more months.”

Following her public announcement of her diagnosis on March 22, the Princess spent several months away from the public eye. Her first public appearance post-diagnosis was last month, during the Trooping the Colour ceremony, alongside other members of the Royal Family.

While Middleton often attends Wimbledon with her husband, Prince William, this year’s event saw the Prince absent as he was in Berlin attending the Union of European Football Association (UEFA) championship game between England and Spain.
