Supreme Court Orders Video-Link for Imran Khan in NAB Amendment Case

In a pivotal move, the Supreme Court of Pakistan directed the Centre and Punjab governments to facilitate a video-link setup for incarcerated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan. This decision allows Khan to present his arguments in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) amendment case, a development stemming from the federal government’s intra-court appeal against the apex court’s 2023 verdict.

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa emphasized the importance of Khan’s participation, stating, “The PTI founder can present his arguments in the upcoming hearing via video link if he wishes to do so.” The directive underscores the court’s commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent legal process.
