Rawalpindi Set to Host New Zealand Cricket Team Training Session
The New Zealand cricket team has touched down in Islamabad, gearing up for an exciting T20I series against Pakistan scheduled to kick off on April 18.
Ahead of the series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently announced the match officials, with Andy Pycroft leading the panel.
Led by Michael Bracewell, the hosts are prepared to face off against the Men in Green in a five-match series, with three matches slated to take place in Rawalpindi and the remaining two in Lahore. The series is set to conclude on April 27, promising thrilling cricket action for fans.
Ahead of the series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently announced the match officials, with Andy Pycroft leading the panel. Pycroft, a member of the Emirates International Cricket Council (ICC) elite panel of match referees, will be joined by distinguished umpires Aleem Dar, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Afridi, and Rashid Riaz.
In anticipation of the series, the PCB unveiled the much-awaited 17-member squad led by Babar Azam for the T20I series. Notably, the squad features the return of pacer Mohammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim to the national side.
Moreover, the series is expected to witness the debut of Usman Khan and Muhammad Irfan Khan for the Green Shirts, following their impressive performances in the recently concluded ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 9).
