During the meeting, both parties reiterated their commitment to expediting the first wave of investment, emphasizing the Kingdom’s pivotal role in supporting Pakistan’s economy. The Saudi crown prince extended warm congratulations to PM Shehbaz on assuming office, highlighting the kingdom’s steadfast support and hospitality. In turn, Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s unwavering assistance and reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to fostering bilateral ties.

Discussions delved into fortifying fraternal relations and exploring avenues for enhanced collaboration across various sectors. Both leaders exchanged views on regional and global developments, addressing pressing issues such as the situation in Gaza. They emphasized the imperative for international efforts to mitigate humanitarian crises and advance peace initiatives, advocating for adherence to international law and the facilitation of humanitarian aid access to Gaza.

The meeting also saw discussions on advancing the peace process, in line with relevant resolutions of the Security Council and the General Assembly, including the Arab Peace Initiative. Both sides stressed the importance of dialogue between Pakistan and India to resolve outstanding issues, particularly the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, to ensure peace and stability in the region.

Prime Minister Shehbaz extended an invitation to the Saudi crown prince to undertake an official visit to Pakistan, which was graciously accepted. This diplomatic exchange marks a significant milestone in Pakistan-Saudi relations, signaling a commitment to mutual prosperity and regional stability.
