PCB and ICC Discuss Smooth Execution of Champions Trophy Plans
An ICC delegation currently visiting Pakistan to assess venues and facilities for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 convened with PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi today. Led by Chris Tetley, ICC’s Head of Events, the delegation included Sarah Edgar, Senior Manager of event operations, and Aun Zaidi, Manager of event operations.
Attended by COO PCB Salman Naseer, Director International Cricket PCB Usman Wahla, and other PCB officials, the meeting focused on preparations for the prestigious ICC tournament. Discussions centered on ensuring the smooth conduct of the event and enhancing facilities to meet international standards.
Expressing enthusiasm for Pakistan’s hosting of the ICC Champions Trophy, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the significance of the tournament for cricket fans nationwide. He affirmed the PCB’s commitment to providing world-class facilities, emphasizing plans to upgrade major venues across the country ahead of the tournament.
