Los Angeles Mansion of Cara Delevingne Devastated by Fire
A luxury property owned by British model and actress Cara Delevingne in Los Angeles has been severely damaged in a fire. Fortunately, Delevingne was not present during the incident as she is currently performing in London’s West End.
Images captured the devastating flames engulfing the roof of the mansion, leaving behind charred remains. Initially fearing for her two pet cats, Delevingne expressed her heartbreak on Instagram. However, she later shared the relieving news that her cats had survived, thanking the firefighters for their efforts.
While Delevingne’s pets were safe, two individuals sustained injuries in the fire. A firefighter was hospitalized in stable condition, while another resident suffered minor smoke inhalation, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire, which began at the back of the 1970s house, quickly spread to the attic, causing the roof to collapse. It took over 90 firefighters more than two hours to bring the flames under control. Nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution.
Fire officials have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. Meanwhile, Delevingne expressed gratitude to the firefighters and all those who responded to the emergency.
Delevingne, who recently debuted on stage in London, had purchased the mansion in 2019. Describing it as one of her favorite places, she had decorated it with unique features, including a “David Bowie shrine” and a ball pit, showcasing her eclectic taste and style.
